GROWING IN FAITH

Growing as a disciple is an intentional process which occurs primarily in Christian community. It is a process by which we are living out our Baptismal vows. Believing in Jesus requires following his example and teachings.  He called disciples first to follow him, spend time with him, and then to go share the good news and bring healing to the world.

Disciples do several things in order to continue to grow in relationship with Jesus Christ:  Disciples worship regularly, both corporately and personally.  They learn together about God and being in relationship with Jesus Christ.  They serve others as Jesus did, both in the church and in the community.  Loving others as Jesus did, they share their God-story and their financial resources for the growth of the Kingdom and out of compassion for God’s people.
